Verify monitoring coverage

Understand reporting, never reported, and stopped reporting before interpreting performance data.

The short answer

Coverage compares people in the selected company or group with people who have matching agent activity. Fix coverage gaps before drawing conclusions from productivity reports.

01

Read the coverage states correctly

  • Reporting means WorkforcePilot recently received a signal mapped to that person.
  • Never reported usually means the agent is not installed or the Windows identity has not been matched.
  • Stopped reporting means a previously known signal has gone quiet; the computer may be off, retired, or unable to reach the service.
  • Coverage is a data-health measure, not an employee productivity score.

02

What to do when coverage is low

  1. 1Open the not-reporting list and separate never-reported people from stopped devices.
  2. 2Confirm the employee is still active and should be in the selected security group.
  3. 3Check whether the agent is installed on every device they regularly use.
  4. 4Compare the Windows username with the Microsoft user identity and repair mapping if needed.
  5. 5Retire obsolete devices rather than treating them as current failures.
